Million Dollar Why

When we see those who are successful in their businesses, what do we think deep down inside? Do we feel they were just lucky like lottery winners? Do we feel they knew a few key people, or thousands of people. Do we envy their amazing charm and “presence?” If we don’t have some of these gifts, does that give us an excuse to miss our goals regularly?

Maybe what they have is not a winning lottery ticket, but a ”million-dollar why.” Their “why” was so big, so compelling, they kept working even when it was not convenient or easy. When we listen to the stories of successful businesses, we quickly understand that the “why” was way more important than the skill or contacts or charisma.

In today’s economy there are lots of people with “million-dollar whys.” We just have to find them and help them see how our business can help them meet their whys.

May our Creator and Savior open our eyes to see those around us who have compelling “whys” and open our mouths to share our opportunity with clarity and conviction.
